GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 372534
should be able to drag and drop messages to top-level Junk, Trash
Last modified: 2008-08-06 13:53:40 UTC
I just started using Evolution to connect to my ISP's IMAP server. I have existing Junk and Trash folders under my Inbox. Evolution additionally shows Junk and Trash folders (probably virtual, I can't tell) as siblings of my Inbox. I should be able to drag and drop messages to the top-level Junk and Trash folders. For some reason Evolution treats these folders specially. Users should be able to drag a set of messages to Junk to mark them as Junk and move them to the Junk folder, or to the Trash to delete them. These are intuitive actions that most other mail clients support. Other information:
I guess drag and drop have been purposefully disabled. If you mark any message as junk, it will automatically move to junk folder. Same behavior for trash folder.
