Here's what exactly I did before the crash occured: 0. i opened a folder with nautilus as an administrator 1. i opened an .a file as an archive 2. i browsed some with file chooser in order to find a directory to extract the archive 3. i browsed to /root folder and pressed "create new folder" there then it crashed. i think i can reproduce the crash at any time. if i can do anything to help you, i'd be happy to. don't hesistate to tell me if i can be of any help.
