Can you describe in detail what you did when this crash occurred? Does it crash every time when you do these steps?

Since the Stack Trace mentions gtk_tree_model, I guess this might be related to bug#364946 and bug#370344 . Which versions of glib2 and gtk do you have?
Comment 3 Mario Goppold 2006-11-06 18:34:12 UTC
Hi all,

I have:
Select account, Actions - Get Balance and in the following dialog "Reconcile account now?" I select "Yes" and Gnucash crashed.

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce the crash. But for completeness I have

glib2-2.12.4-8
gtk-1.2.10-920

thanks a million

Mario

There is a new crash in gtk_tree_model. Today I wanted to transmit a bank transfer. I filled out the necessary fields, chose the destination account and selected ok.
I test gnucash in the brand new openSUSE 10.2 Beta2:

gnucash-2.0.2-19 (rev. 14936)
guile-1.8.1-14
slib-3a1-74
aqbanking-2.2.3-14
glib2-2.12.4-10
gtk2-2.10.6-6

The crash is reproducible. Please, if more Infos are needed (see attachment) I can and I will see what I can do, but I have to pay the bill soon.

The crash on transfer dialog is bug#351371 , please add information about crashes in transfer dialog only there. (As a workaround, you can try to choose the account selections the other way round, as this seems to be related.) Also, bug#364946 seems to be caused by the same issue.

If you want to help: Can you verify that both crashes occur also without online banking functions? I.e. the "reconcile" crash also occurs if you click the Menu item Actions -> Reconcile and enter something, and the "transfer dialog" crash occurs when you click the toolbar item "Transfer"? If you can tell us a way that will crash always, we could try to reproduce this here as well, but so far we didn't observe this crash anywhere.
