Description Sven Arvidsson 2006-11-04 23:14:50 UTC
This bug was reported to the Debian BTS.
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=280427

  To reproduce:

  (a) Start listening to an online radio station.
  (b) Kill your Internet connection (e.g., with ifdown) and wait for the
      sound to stop.
  (c) Now rhythmbox still appears to be responsive, but....
  (d) Try to pause the (now-defunct) stream, and watch rhythmbox die.

Rhythmbox seems to freeze after (d), but continues playing afterwards when the internet connection is back up.

This is caused by bug 338827, gnoemvfssrc using synchronous operations and causing state changes to block.
