I can see the glib2 debug symbols, but I cannot see the nautilus nor any other debugging symbols.

debugging sybmols is all the rubbish in between the parenthesis "(" and ")"

Paul, thank you! this is actually a trace matching bug #320020 . rummaging through the otherr duplicates and their descriptions, all reports collected here are actually a duplicate of bug #320020 (opening an audio cd in nautilus tree view side pane by expanding the arrow)
