When entering track names for a CD with no freeDB entry (i.e. a CD containing home made demos etc.)  you have to enter a track name by the following method:

1 Select track name
2 Press enter to begin editing
3 Enter track name
4 Press enter to end editing.

To edit the next track name you have to go through this process all over again which is rather tedious.

I would like to see Sound Juicer behave like CDEX does so that once you start editing tracks you go into "edit mode".  You then only leave "edit mode" when either all track names have been entered or you press the "esc" key.  The logic of this being:

1  Select first track name you wish to edit.
2  Press enter (or a function key such as F2*) to begin editing
3  Enter track name
4  Press enter to end editing the current track name and to start editing the next track name.

At any time pressing "esc" leaves "edit mode".

The best way for you to see how this should work would be to try CDEx for yourselves (if I remember correctly it works under WINE) as it does this right.

The current way Sound Juicer operates requires far too much  pressing of the enter key and it's not only inefficient but its not very ergonomic.

*It would be nice if all applications in GNOME accepted the F2 key as a standard which meant "edit the currently selected object name" (like most Windows applications) do but that's another story...
