Description Ian Lewis 2006-10-28 06:44:24 UTC
When trying to open a file with Japanese anywhere in the pathname, Dia refuses to open the file and reports that it's missing. The file browser works and I can select the file but after that I get an error message saying it can't find the file.

Although gtk+ and glib are capable to handle this since a while (2.6) Dia is not yet. Unfortunately the way to solve it programartically has changed between the the lowest and the current versions of the gtk+,glib libraries.
