Description Christopher Halse Rogers 2006-10-26 08:49:59 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The entries on in one of my smart playlists defined as "Date added" "Less Than" "2" "Days" ago get duplicated, about once every 30 seconds. This only occurs when the this playlist is the current playlist, and it is not persistant - changing to another playlist/source and then changing back will reset the playlist to having each entry only once, but again after about 30 seconds the items will be duplicated.

The playlist goes from:
Song 1, Song 2, Song 3
to
Song 1, Song 2, Song 3, Song 1, Song 2, Song 3
to
Song 1, Song 2, Song 3, Song 1, Song 2, Song 3, Song 1, Song 2, Song 3
etc when there is no sorting, or
Song 1, etc.
to
Song 1, Song 1, Song 2, Song 2, etc.
etc
when the playlist is sorted.

The total number of (unique) songs in the playlist is reported correctly in the Source pane, and is not affected by the duplicating process.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Add a smart playlist "Date added < 2 days ago"
2. Set the playlist to be active (view the entries of the playlist)
3. Wait approximately 30 seconds

Actual results:
The entries of the playlist get duplicated

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
Using Banshee version 0.11.2
