Description Cheli 2006-10-25 22:57:16 UTC
I try to write the new url when I open a new tab but nothing happen because the focus is not on address bar. Then I have to click on the address bar to focus it to be able to write the url.

Do you have a homepage set? New tabs have the focus on the address bar _only_ if you have a blank page as homepage.
Comment 2 Cheli 2006-10-26 02:26:41 UTC
That was, I have set a blank pages as homepage and now it works fine. Anyway I don't understand why epiphany developers prefer this configuration, I prefer it allways works focusing the address bar.

It was recently under discussion if this behavior is changed or not. Comment about it in bug #105153.

Thanks for your interest on improving Epiphany.
