Description Emmanuele Bassi (:ebassi) 2006-10-25 19:19:03 UTC
the ringchart change its root folder depending on the selected row; I think that the treeview should change too when the selected row is activated (double click/enter) by the user. This keeps the tree short.

this might warrant the need of a "go up one level" button on the toolbar, to walk the tree backwards, though I'm not going to make a fuss about this one. :-)

I can work on this before the next 2.17 release.
Comment 1 Emmanuele Bassi (:ebassi) 2006-10-25 20:15:17 UTC
working on this, will attach a patch shortly.
Comment 2 Steve Frécinaux 2006-12-02 14:06:11 UTC
If so, the parent directories should be kept in memory since one is likely to go back to the root directory later...
Comment 3 André Klapper 2021-05-26 09:26:47 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of Baobab, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/baobab/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
