GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 365088
Re-root on row-activate
Last modified: 2021-05-26 09:26:47 UTC
the ringchart change its root folder depending on the selected row; I think that the treeview should change too when the selected row is activated (double click/enter) by the user. This keeps the tree short. this might warrant the need of a "go up one level" button on the toolbar, to walk the tree backwards, though I'm not going to make a fuss about this one. :-) I can work on this before the next 2.17 release.
working on this, will attach a patch shortly.
If so, the parent directories should be kept in memory since one is likely to go back to the root directory later...
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org. As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled). If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent and supported software version of Baobab, then please follow https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines and create a new enhancement request ticket at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/baobab/-/issues/ Thank you for your understanding and your help.
