Description James Strandboge 2006-10-23 23:36:23 UTC
Distribution: Ubuntu 6.06 (dapper)
Package: Evolution
Severity: critical
Version: GNOME2.14.3 2.6.x
Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu
Synopsis: evolution crashes when viewing attached email
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Mailer
Bugzilla-Version: 2.6.x
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.14.1)
Description:
Description of the crash:
evolution crashes when viewing attached email

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. import the attached email into evolution
2. click on the email in the right hand list of emails, when it loads
evolution crashes

How often does this happen?
Every time. Once you do it the first time, you can't get rid of the
email easily, because evolution will crash on loading. This is a really
bad crasher for end users, as the attached email was spam and then all
of a sudden their email didn't work anymore.
