What were you doing when the application crashed?
I restartet the GNOME Session and Ekiga was "part of it".

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

Seems to be a possible pwlib issue.

This has been reported upstream :
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1588525&group_id=80674&atid=560612

However, without debug symbols, it will be hard to solve.

No move upstream :-/
Comment 15 Duncan Lithgow 2006-12-27 11:41:10 UTC
Damien, is there no equivalent of ekiga-dbg we can install to collect useful stack traces? It doesn't take up much space on my machine so I'd love to just always be running debug versions of my main apps.
Comment 16 Snark 2006-12-27 12:10:56 UTC
We have -dbg packages for the cvs snapshots. And for the stable, we have -dbg for libpt and libopal.

I discussed with Robert and we found a possible cause for the crash.
It has been committed to HEAD and Phobos. If it doesn't fix the crash, please reopen.
