Description Thomas Langewouters 2006-10-23 14:20:22 UTC
An option to delete attachement(s) from (old) emails makes it possible to keep the size of the .evolution folder and on disk storage small (these things shouldn't be kept in evolution anyways right, yet it would be nice to still keep the mail, to keep track of things)
Comment 1 Karsten Bräckelmann 2006-10-24 00:28:57 UTC
Thanks for the bug report, Thomas. However...

Deleting attachments of received emails alters the document/message, and
therefore is not the sent document any longer. This violates the respecive RFC
(standard). This has been discussed pretty often, and there are a couple of
different reasons, why this should not be supported. Sorry.
