Please describe the problem:
Sometimes get choppy audio, as in playing music on hold via asterisk, the speed is correct, just a lot of drop audio, so sounds very choppy.

Other programs openning the sound card can cause this, or cause it to stop, but not reliably

Unfortunately this is not an Ekiga problem, but an audio setup/driver issue...
