Version: 2.16.2 What were you doing when the application crashed? I was just playing a video with Totem Distribution: Debian testing/unstable Gnome Release: 2.15.91 2006-08-13 (Debian) BugBuddy Version: 2.16.0 Memory status: size: 122609664 vsize: 0 resident: 122609664 share: 0 rss: 32210944 rss_rlim: 0 CPU usage: start_time: 1161017533 rtime: 0 utime: 111 stime: 0 cutime:102 cstime: 0 timeout: 9 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 3 Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/totem' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1". Sorry for the lousy bug-report, I'm using the new bug-buddy apparently. I'm attaching the video file.
Sorry again, the file weights 1084k, and bugzilla accepts 1000k max. I'll see if I can host it, but I doubt that.
So you can reproduce the crash with that file? Maybe 'bzip2' might be able to compress the file just enough for it to be attached? (otherwise, feel free to send it to me by e-mail) As for the stack trace, it's really not very useful I'm afraid. Any chance you could install the following packages and then try to reproduce this? - libgstreamer0.10-0-dbg - gstreamer0.10-plugins-base-dbg - gstreamer0.10-plugins-good-dbg (if available)
Closing this bug report as no further information has been provided. Please feel free to reopen this bug if you can provide the information asked for. Thanks!
Ok, you can download it at ftp://awak.dyndns.org/mouse1.asf (but please don't hammer this server, it's my home machine on a poor DSL link).
Thanks a lot, this is very helpful, because this is the infamous bug #336370, and now I finally have a test file that triggers this :) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 336370 ***
