Description Jeff Greene 2006-10-15 22:57:54 UTC
Please describe the problem:
If one opens a combo box near the bottom of the screen, only a few items are shown and the rest has to be scrolled to see.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Gaim 2.0.0beta.
2. Resize the buddy list so it extends to the bottom of the screen.
3. Click on the status changing combo box at the bottom of the buddy list.

Actual results:
The status list pops up, but most of the choices have to be scrolled to be seen.

Expected results:
All the items (or as many as the list window size is) in the combo box should be shown without having to be scrolled.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
Currently, I have only found this to be a problem with Gaim, but I am sure other programs have this same problem.

This is what it will look like if the buddy list is extended all the way to the bottom of the screen.

Is this really a duplicate of bug 116647 – GtkNotebook: tab states? Seems like a completely different subject to me. This one isn't about tabs, right? Sorry if I am mistaken.
