Dear reporters, could you please help fixing this by installing some debugging packages [1], start the application as normal, and try to reproduce the crash, if possible? Once bug-buddy pops up, you can find the stacktrace in the 'Details', now containing way more information. Please copy that stacktrace and paste it as a comment here. Thanks in advance! [1] Please install debug packages for nautilus, glib2, gtk2, pango, gnome-vfs2, libgnome, and libgnomeui. Ubuntu: nautilus-dbg, libglib2.0-0-dbg, libgtk2.0-0-dbg, libpango1.0-0-dbg, libgnomevfs2-0-dbg, libgnome2-0-dbgsym, and libgnomeui-0-dbg. Fedora Core 6 and OpenSuSE 10.2: nautilus-debuginfo, glib2-debuginfo, gtk2-debuginfo, pango-debuginfo, gnome-vfs2-debuginfo, libgnome-debuginfo, and libgnomeui-debuginfo. SuSE provides a debuginfo package repository, that users can add to their installation sources, under http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.2/repo/debug/suse/ . In Response to Comment #114 by Andre Klapper: I installed all of the debug pkgs you suggested (Under Ubuntu) except I could not find libgnome2-0-dbgsym in Synaptic so I did not install it. The first time this bug occurred I copied a lot of data to my 2GB flash drive. When the box said it was done, my flash drive was still flashing like crazy even though the progress box showed it was done. I proceeded to let it flash for about 10 seconds and said the heck with it and unmounted it. This is what originally caused the bug. THIS time I tried to do the same thing, and when I tried to unmount it, I got a new message box that said: "Writing data to device: There is data that needs to be written to the device <my flash drive> before it can be removed. Please do not remove the media or disconnect the drive." This box showed until the flash drive really was done with the files being copied to it and then unmounted my flash with no problems. Whether this was because I installed the new fiesty faun update or because of the debug pkgs I installed I don't know. I'm sure you will, however and I hope this helps you a little bit. If you want me to truly reproduce the error and force unmount it or physically pull it out of my usb plug for the sake of finding the error, please let me know. In my mind the problem is "solved" because at least it gives a message and doesnt allow you to unmount it.

All I can say is that I was using the suse file explorer, and I hit "Up" (probably past root), and I got this error. I say probably because I am not exactly sure. I was attempting to get to root. I can not reproduce the issue since I have re-installed.
