Description Chris Malton 2006-10-12 17:48:55 UTC
Please describe the problem:
On my machine I have a DVD burner. I attempted to burn a 4.4GB file to a supposed 4.7GB DVD. However, a 4.7GB DVD ~= 4.377GB meaning it would not fit. When I attempted the burn of this file, Nautilus just finalised the DVD+R and never warned me about a DVD file size issue. If I try with GNOMEBaker it won't add the file.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Get a 4.377GB or larger file (Good example is a HDD backup)
2. Copy it to CD/DVD Burning folder.
3. Tell GNOME to burn the DVD.

Actual results:
Nautilus does not write the data, it just finalises the DVD.

Expected results:
Nautilus should issue a warning about large files and fail writing.

Does this happen every time?
Yes
