What were you doing when the application crashed? Trying to open the recycle bin. Thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately, that stack trace is not very useful in determining the cause of the crash. Can you get us one with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Can you reproduce this?
It seems the bug got fixed in the new version of Evolution that came with Ubuntu Edgy today. I could reproduce the bug before the update, but not after. Good job on fixing it this fast ;) Let me know if you need version numbers or anything.
Thanks for the feedback. :) Version numbers, yes please. Let me guess: You have been able to reproduce this crash with evolution 2.8.1-0ubuntu1 -- and can not reproduce this exactly since updating to 2.8.1-0ubuntu2? If so, this is a duplicate of bug 359236. That patch is the only fix Ubuntu backported for that particular update. Marking as such. Can you verify this? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 359236 ***
Exactly as you said. Verified.
Great, thanks!
