Steps to reproduce:
1. trying open a jpg image
2.

Gimp 2.2.6 on windows XP
At first works fine but after some time using GIMP, jpeg.exe stops opening images.
XP Error Report Content won't allow to copy it's contents.

This could be bug #300186. Your version of GIMP is pretty old btw, the current one is 2.2.13. Please update to that one and report back.

I think it is a pretty safe assumption that this is the same problem as bug #300186, so I am going to mark it as a dup.  Andy, if upgrading to the latest version of GIMP does not solve your problem, please add a comment to this bug report to let us know about it. (We will see it.)  If the problem goes away as I expect, there is no need to do anything more.

Downed and installed the newest version (2.2.13) and now it worsk just fine for me.
Poblem actually was due to Olympos jpg's. 
Will report if crashs later again though.
