GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 357133
crash in System Log: Typing in gedit, editing...
Last modified: 2006-09-22 01:05:54 UTC
Version: 2.16.0 What were you doing when the application crashed? Typing in gedit, editing /etc/network/interfaces. Terminal, Gnome's syslog viewer, and firefox were running. I have been having problems getting either 2.6.17-7-generic or my own SMP kernel to work on a Pentium D 805 system. The only kernel that will run well seems to be the UP -386 version.
