What were you doing when the application crashed?
running live on dual opteron 2 gig rig msi mb9131
opened time to change displayed value from UTC to local time
clicked on keep syncronised
 at one point , it said ntp.. vwas not installed ,  I clicked install it went to the live cd and the bug window showed up
