Distribution: redhat-3
Package: evince
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.10.0 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: PDF File: Highlighted Text disappears when highlighting other text
Bugzilla-Product: evince
Bugzilla-Component: general
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
Description:
Description of Problem:
When one highlights text in a pdf, then highlights other text, the
previously highlighted text turns white until something else becomes
highlighted or all text is deselected.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a PDF file in Evince
2. Select some text
3. Leaving that text highlighted, select some other text
4. Select some other text (third time).
5. Deselect everything (just click some place without hightlighting
anything)

Actual Results:
Notice that upon selecting new text (step 3), the previously highlighted
text disappears (from step 2). Upon performing step 4, notice that the
text selected in step 2 returns to normal, however the text selected in
step 3 is now white. Finally, performing step 5 makes all text to appear
normal.

Expected Results:
Whenever a new area of text is highlighted, the previously highlighted
text should be updated to its normal appearance.

How often does this happen?
Everytime

Additional Information:
This is with Evince 0.4.0
OS is Fedora Core 4
Computer is a Dell Dimension with a 64 bit processor
