Distribution: redhat-3 Package: evince Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.10.0 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc Synopsis: PDF File: Highlighted Text disappears when highlighting other text Bugzilla-Product: evince Bugzilla-Component: general Bugzilla-Version: unspecified Description: Description of Problem: When one highlights text in a pdf, then highlights other text, the previously highlighted text turns white until something else becomes highlighted or all text is deselected. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open a PDF file in Evince 2. Select some text 3. Leaving that text highlighted, select some other text 4. Select some other text (third time). 5. Deselect everything (just click some place without hightlighting anything) Actual Results: Notice that upon selecting new text (step 3), the previously highlighted text disappears (from step 2). Upon performing step 4, notice that the text selected in step 2 returns to normal, however the text selected in step 3 is now white. Finally, performing step 5 makes all text to appear normal. Expected Results: Whenever a new area of text is highlighted, the previously highlighted text should be updated to its normal appearance. How often does this happen?
