If you start totem from the command line, like this:

 $ totem dvd://1

what is the warning it prints before it aborts?

Could you install these packages:

 - libgstreamer0.10-0-dbg
 - gstreamer0.10-plugins-base-dbg
 - gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse-dbg

and then get a new stack trace please (so it has debug symbols)?

Comment 2 Tim-Philipp Müller 2006-09-14 08:35:00 UTC
Ping?

Without a better stack trace or at least the exact warning there isn't really much we can do about this ...
