Please describe the problem:
Using MICROTEC Scanmaker X6el. 
File->Acquire->TWAIN
Selection of X6el
Preview under Black and White Picture or Text Completed OK.
Scan and transfer of Image completes without error.
Image not visible. Only a few white pixels and grid pixels on a black background.
This maybe operator corrected or a bug. Please inform.


Steps to reproduce:

Actual results:
As above.

Expected results:
Black and white image present.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
Using color picture selection the image shows as expected.

Right, which makes it a duplicate of bug #143855 until we find someone who is interested to deal with all the bugs in this plug-in.
