interesting, i haven't heard of something like that...
alberto, does this already happen in the print preview? if so, can you add a screenshot here? which distro is this? KDE, GNOME? thanks in advance.
Comment 2 Alberto 2006-09-11 12:02:40 UTC
No, when i ask for print-preview it show me everything okay...

It happens in ALL (5) machines i've tried, (using 2 different Evolution Versions).

Few using gnome as desktop, others one called TDE, and distro i've tried is SuSe 9.1 and 10.1

thanks for answering
Comment 3 André Klapper 2006-09-11 15:24:59 UTC
alberto, so it happens on all machines - are all machines using the same printer on a network? :-) which printer is that?
can you post the output of "rpm -qa | grep print" here?
please reopen this bug report when answering. thanks in advance...
Comment 4 Alberto 2006-09-12 12:25:05 UTC
Actually i tried to print images from evolution in two different printers (local and network)
Local = HP930c
Network = HP1015

and the same thing happens.
researching about the problem i found this link

http://www.novell.com/prblogs/index.php?title=kde_and_gnome&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1

Which says:

"Like printing GIF images as black image (totally black paper printout), like not supporting printing more pages on one physical sheet (evince for example) and these things exists in gnome-print/ui and are an elementary thing of the stable gnome releases recently. I wanted to print a document with 120 pages in evince on 4 pages per 1 physical sheet, which should end up in 30 pages of paper. but after I came back from dinner I saw that evince printed it on 120 pages rather than 30 as I was assuming. These things can not be."
