What were you doing when the application crashed?
using live CD of Ubuntu1.20 Knot2,
open windows: firefox (google, was surfing a bit before), synaptic (reloaded information about packages), tried to switch time zone to berlin, keyboard-layout changed to German. anything else was not used before the crash of timezone-enjustment
