Description Farhad Shakiba 2006-09-06 05:30:57 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed?
The "Show" message drop-down list above the messages pane does not remember the last selection.

Scenario: I chooses "Last 5 Days' Messages" from the drop down list in the message pane. The filter is applied. I exit Evolution and launch the application again. The filter is reset back to "All messages".

From a spatial point of view it would make sense to save the state of the email client upon exiting the application.

Distribution: Ubuntu 6.10 (edgy)
Gnome Release: 2.16.0 2006-09-04 (Ubuntu)

I apologize for the format of the bug report. I sent it through the help menu which apparently marks the bug as "Critical" and a "Crasher" bug. This is obviously a behavior enhancement request.

It's already there, in Evolution 2.12. Only one note, it is independent for each folder, but I'm sure you know that. Closing as fixed (because it's working now). Feel free to reopen, if you find something wrong about it.
