Description ushveen kaur 2006-09-01 11:23:33 UTC
In the task table, the moment i edit the start date(or any other field),that particular task moves at the end of the list and same field of the next task gets the current control. The tasks keep moving in a cyclic fashion.
This is very annoying coz the user might to edit other fields of the same task,he then has to scroll down to the last task and edit it(and the worst is i might not realise that it has moved to the last).

Other information:
I think the assumption made here is that if a user edits a particular field of a task, hez likely to change the same field of other tasks,so automatically that task is moved up and the one which is editted is moved at the end.
But i think this assumption is not valid.
The tasks must remain in their position.
