GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 353764
dates in widgets not displayed in bengali
Last modified: 2010-04-23 10:56:42 UTC
run evolution 2.7.92 in bengali: LANG=bn_IN.utf8 evolution go to "new > assigned task" (which is "বরাদ্দ কর্ম (_d)"). use the dropdown widget to enter a date. (screenshot 1) after having chosen it, it will not be displayed correctly (screenshot 2) and shell output says: Pango-WARNING **: Invalid UTF-8 string passed to pango_layout_set_text() when trying to save, i get bombed with "invalid date value" pop ups. other bengali bugs, most probably the same one: go to "new > shared memo". realize that the field below the summary contains byte crap. it's always something different. trying to mark it or adding it or using the dropdown widget crashes evo. Pango-WARNING **: Invalid UTF-8 string passed to pango_layout_set_text() go to "new > memo". the field between summary and categories is greyed out and contains byte crap. Pango-WARNING **: Invalid UTF-8 string passed to pango_layout_set_text()
