Hi benh ;) Which libgpod version are you using? It's probably fixed with latest libgpod CVS (a new release is upcoming)
Switch to NEEDINFO. As Christophe says, crash looks to be in libgpod. Also, that stack trace is not very useful in determining the cause of the crash. Can you get us one with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.
Add to iPod tracker bug.
It's probably a duplicate of bug #352972 even if here the stacktrace seems to indicate that libgpod got stuck in an infinite loop.
benh, which iPod model do you have? Still your 1st/2nd gen one, or did you buy a new one? If you have a newer one, did you upgrade the firmware to the latest release? If so, could you check if http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=352972#c28 applies to your case? Thanks!
Sorry, I didn't come back to you earlier, got pretty busy and it slipped out of my mind. I was using whatever was in sid at the time. I'll try again after an update (I can try a CVS build too I suppose). Yes, it's still my old brick (gen 2 I think) with whatever firmware is the latest for those oldies.
benh, is this still an issue or can this be closed as obsolete?
Closing this bug since it has been nearly six months without an answer, feel free to reopen it if you can still reproduce with newer rhythmbox versions.
