When importing VBR MP3 files with no xing header, we currently don't get the duration or bitrate correct, as we'd have to decode the entire file to do so.  It might be interesting to update RHYTHMDB_PROP_DURATION and RHYTHMDB_PROP_BITRATE on EOS so that we end up with accurate values.

It might trigger a tag rewrite in the file if tag writing is enabled and those properties change (at least, it used to do that when I tried to implement that a long while ago).
