Description Peter Zanner 2006-08-24 12:44:34 UTC
Hello,

I'm having sometimes larger DLs with Pan (music) and once I told Pan what
to get I forget about it until next day.

That's mostly fine, but sometimes I'm experimenting with my system (Gentoo)
and reboot, forgetting that Pan still downloads - say - 900 tracks.

In effect this costs me hour(s) to re-search everything I wanted in
about a dozen groups or so and direct Pan do dl to the right dirs
again.

Personally I don't think that Pan should hold up the shutdown process,
as some error msgs sometimes do, but wouldn't it be a nice idea just
to save the queue when the term signal arrives and reload it after
startup?

May be it's also a problem 'cuz I use KDE, not GNOME, so Pan doesn't
recieve a signal it would have gotten under Gnome, I don't know. But
I sure know it recieves the TERM signal before shutting down.

Just an Idea.

P.S.: I can't tell the version from in the box above because in
the about box it says 0.109, which is nothing near the values above.
