Description Thomas Rydzynski 2006-08-19 18:36:27 UTC
When you're developing something that should work under Linux, OS X, Windows 98 and your toster it is useful to state that you're using gtk 2.0 or 2.4 or sth else as no all gtk/gtkmm/gnome versions are available on every platform.

Could widgets be versioned and an user able to state that he wants only those available in specific version? The same applies to widget properties and set of enumeration values.

I think it will also help with quick, rough testing of which version of toolkit can an application run with.

Thanks
