Description of Problem:
Crash upon trying to rip a CD with an edited profile

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Edit Preferences;  change the quality setting of lossy CD extraction
to 6
2. Try to rip a CD (press the "Extract" button)
3. Crash! (application stops responding but bug buddy is not invoked
automatically.  Force quit required.)
