Description Baybal Ni 2006-08-18 03:22:53 UTC
Please add support of taglib through gstreamer
Comment 1 Christophe Fergeau 2006-08-18 07:07:22 UTC
What do you mean exactly? Use the gstreamer tagid3v2mux element (or whatever his name is these days) to tag files, or something else?
Comment 2 Alex Lancaster 2006-08-18 18:26:19 UTC
Tag writing is already present in the id3v2mux element, which is now in the released versions of gstreamer-plugins-good. Rhythmbox will use that element for retagging if you have gstreamer-plugins-good >= 0.10.3.

Although 0.10.4 is better because it has "lossless" retagging, meaning that tags that gstreamer doesn't know about are preserved.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

Since gstreamer has taglib support: bug #333501, closing as dupe. If you mean something else than retagging support, feel free to re-open.
