GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 351397
Evince displays the same document in different sizes depending on file type
Last modified: 2006-08-17 05:28:05 UTC
Please describe the problem: My display is 231x138 mm wide and has 1280x768 px (xdpyinfo shows these values, so the X server knows about this). At 100% an A4-page (210 mm wide) should be approximately 1164 px wide. Evince displays the same document (testpage from the tetex distribution) with different widths depending on the input file format used. Format Displayed width =============================== PDF 594 px DVI 619 px PostScript 1164 px Steps to reproduce: 1. Open attached files in evince 2. Select 100% zoom for all files Actual results: All three documents are displayed at a different size (only PostScript being displayed correctly) Expected results: All documents are diplayed at the same correct size on screen. Does this happen every time? Reproducible every time. Other information: This is with cairo-1.2.2 gtk-2.10.1 evince-0.5.5 poppler-0.5.3 t1lib-5.0.2
