Description y y 2006-08-14 15:09:44 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When you click the search button in Nautilus and enter a query, it automatically searches your home folder even if you're in another folder like "/" or "~/files"

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click nautilus search button
2. Enter any query like "cats"
3. Find that it searches only your home directory and not the one you're in

Actual results:
Searches home (~) directory no matter what directory I'm in

Expected results:
Search the folder I'm currently in

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
KDE and Windows both do it by using the current folder not just your home, I don't know about Mac. Also, if you won't change it by default please add a gconf key for it if it doesn't already exist...this is v. annoying to me
