What version of rhythmbox are you using?

0.9.5 as shipped with garnome 2.15.90

other applications sometimes crash as well, so it might well not be a RB bug.

This is another instance of the query model reference counting problem; stack trace matches bug 346664, which is a duplicate of 349601.
