Description Sebastian Noack 2006-08-12 13:26:29 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When you gonna sign an email evolution shows a prompt to type in the passphrase. If you use gpg with a smartcard, there isn't a passphrase, but instead of you have a PIN for your cryptocard which gpg askes for and it seems that evolution can't handle the commandline prompt of gpg when asking for the PIN.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Setup gpg for usage with a smartcard.
2. Setup evolution to use you signing key on the smartcard by specifying the corresponfing key id.
3. Try to send a message (with enabled signing)

Actual results:
Evolution freezes.

Expected results:
That a prompt becomes shown for entering the smartcard pin.

Does this happen every time?
yes
