GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 350952
gnome-terminal gone mad
Last modified: 2006-08-12 20:27:44 UTC
Please describe the problem: Terminal resizes by itself when adding a new tab / switch to a tab Steps to reproduce: 1. Start gnome-terminal 2. Increase its size 3. Open a tab 4. Open a tab Actual results: The terminal increases its size. It's seems, it increases its size by the amount given at step 2 (hard to measure...). Adding another tab and switching back to one of the other tabs increases the size once more. Expected results: No change to the terminal's size. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information: Gnome terminal 2.15.4. Also happens with 2.15.3. No problem with 2.14.x GNOME 2.15.91 glih 2.12.1 gtk+ 2.10.1 metacity 2.15.91. Everything compiled from sources. Note: after this 'bug', gnome-terminal crashes when closed. I'll add the stacktrace.
