Previewing of large gif files makes nautilus crash.

Steps to reproduce: I have a large gif file made with byzanz, and when nautilus tries to make the thumbnail it starts to eat memory until it crashes, this make the whole system to be hanged. Stack trace: I was unable to get the stack trace after the nautilus crash using gdb: [New Thread 245765 (LWP 3782)] [New Thread 262150 (LWP 3783)] [Thread 212995 (LWP 3780) exited] [Thread 229380 (LWP 3781) exited] [Thread 245765 (LWP 3782) exited] Program terminated with signal SIGKILL, Killed. The program no longer exists. (gdb) thread apply all bt (gdb) bt No stack. (gdb) Other information: I'll attach the gif file
