moving component to gcalc
Not likely to happen, that is unless someone other then me codes it.
As an ex-HP user... that would rock ;) </editorial mode>
Okay, I can think of more important things right now. Marking as such.

Reassigning - since the calc in gnome-utils is now dead.
gcalctool specific comment. Adding RPN functionality to gcalctool would take a fair amount of work. This is unlikely to happen anytime soon (unless somebody supplies a patch ;-).

This is one of those enhancement requests that I have absolutely no plans of doing myself. Rather than just close it out as WONTFIX, I'll set the target milestone to Future. If somebody drops a patch on me to implement this, then that's a different story.
hi, im try to make the code for RPN mode, (im user of HP 49G+ and i love the RPN mode). I never write a gnome aplication but i start to help to the Gnome community. Please excuse me for the bad english, i try to do the best i can.
Now that we've got a "gcalctool-maint@gnome.bugs" alias, I'm reassigning several bugs and enhancement back to that. They are free to be picked up by one of the team and worked on.
Support for different input methods is out of scope for GCalctool: http://live.gnome.org/Gcalctool Solution is to use an existing calculator application that support RPN (e.g. galculator, qalculate). It only took 10 years to decide :)
