moving component to gcalc
Comment 2 George Lebl 2001-06-25 01:08:31 UTC
Not likely to happen, that is unless someone other then me codes it.
Comment 3 Luis Villa 2002-02-13 05:49:48 UTC
As an ex-HP user... that would rock ;) </editorial mode>
Comment 4 Glynn Foster 2002-04-28 22:31:23 UTC
Okay, I can think of more important things right now. Marking as such.
Comment 5 Glynn Foster 2002-05-01 10:22:25 UTC
non-2.0

Reassigning - since the calc in gnome-utils is now dead.
Comment 8 Rich Burridge 2003-05-28 15:28:18 UTC
gcalctool specific comment. Adding RPN functionality
to gcalctool would take a fair amount of work. This
is unlikely to happen anytime soon (unless somebody
supplies a patch ;-).

This is one of those enhancement requests that I have absolutely
no plans of doing myself. Rather than just close it out as
WONTFIX, I'll set the target milestone to Future. If somebody
drops a patch on me to implement this, then that's a different story.
Comment 11 Juan Carlos Mardones Koning 2006-11-13 15:46:40 UTC
hi, im try to make the code for RPN mode, (im user of HP 49G+ and i love the RPN mode).

I never write a gnome aplication but i start to help to the Gnome community.

Please excuse me for the bad english, i try to do the best i can.
Comment 12 Rich Burridge 2007-11-03 15:12:11 UTC
Now that we've got a "gcalctool-maint@gnome.bugs" alias, I'm
reassigning several bugs and enhancement back to that. They
are free to be picked up by one of the team and worked on.
Comment 13 Robert Ancell 2010-03-29 00:24:11 UTC
Support for different input methods is out of scope for GCalctool:
http://live.gnome.org/Gcalctool

Solution is to use an existing calculator application that support RPN (e.g. galculator, qalculate).

It only took 10 years to decide :)
