Description Adam Dingle 2006-08-06 00:37:13 UTC
Even if I clear the checkbox "Cursor blinks in text boxes and fields" in the Keyboard Preferences dialog in Gnome, the gnome-terminal cursor still blinks unless I edit the default gnome-terminal profile and clear its own preference "cursor blinks". This is inconvenient. I think that gnome-terminal should follow the global Gnome blinking preference - either in the Default profile, or even in every profile; we could simply eliminate the gnome-terminal preference, since it seems unlikely to me that anyone would want the cursor to blink in some of their terminal profiles but not others.
