Description James "Doc" Livingston 2006-08-03 12:04:00 UTC
The "copy folder content locally for offline operation" option works fine for IMAP folders, but does not appear to work for NNTP newsgroups. With the option enabled going to offline mode does not download message bodies, and so they are not viewable offline unless I have read them already.

reassigning to mailer, shortening the summary a bit.
Comment 2 Ritesh Raj Sarraf 2017-02-07 08:33:41 UTC
This bug is similar to bug: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=777042

And as such, either one should be duped to the other, and closed. Offline access works. The way it works is documented in the referenced bug report.
Comment 3 Milan Crha 2017-06-21 08:40:55 UTC
I agree with Ritesh and as the other bug contains a fix, I mark this as a duplicate of it.
