Comment 1 Rob Bradford 2006-07-28 19:58:00 UTC
Unique stack trace.
Comment 2 csanyipal 2006-07-29 07:41:53 UTC
The crash happened too with another application, eg.: Planner, so I think this is not an Ekiga bug, but Gnome bug. I use on Debian Sarge the Gnome version 64.
Comment 3 Damien Sandras 2006-08-02 08:43:20 UTC
It crashes in ATK :
  • #3 atk_state_set_contains_state
    from /usr/lib/libatk-1.0.so.0
  • #4 gail_cell_add_state
    from /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libgail.so
  • #5 gail_tree_view_ref_focus_cell
    from /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libgail.so
  • #6 gail_tree_view_ref_focus_cell
    from /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libgail.so
  • #7 gail_tree_view_ref_focus_cell
    from /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libgail.so

Perhaps try to disable Accessibility ?
Comment 4 csanyipal 2006-08-03 06:24:52 UTC
I disable now GNOME Accessibility.
It seems to be OK till now.
Comment 5 Damien Sandras 2006-08-15 21:07:49 UTC
OK, reassigning to ATK.
Could be related to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329454
Comment 6 bill.haneman 2006-08-21 18:41:16 UTC
Probably not related to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329454.

Crash-on-exit, reducing severity to "major". Unfortunately we need symbols for atk_state_set_contains_state, not clear whether this is a g_return_val_if_fail issue or a segv. It's _possible_ that Ekiga is somehow creating an AtkStateSet that is not an AtkRealStateSet (?) causing the cast to result in SEGV, but I can't tell w/o symbols.
Comment 7 bill.haneman 2006-09-25 18:53:43 UTC
Thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately, that stack trace is not very useful in determining the cause of the crash. Can you get us one with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.
