Description dcb 2006-07-27 23:24:37 UTC
I'm using Pan .0105.

When d/l binaries, it would be nice if in the Header Pane you could select multiple binary chunks with the mouse by using drag select, with the window scrolling-up as needed. This is the expected UI feature, but it doesn't work.

Right now, I usually select the first binary chunk with the middle mouse button and then select the last binary chunk with SHIFT-middle mouse button: this will select all binary chunks between the first and last selection. Obviously one can also use CTRL-middle mouse button to pick individual binary chunks.

I just used the keyboard to select multiple binary chunks and that works great! Congratulations, because that seemed to be broken in old-Pan most of the time, which I suppose is why I've become accustomed to multiple-selecting articles with the mouse.

In any event, most people expect to simply swipe with the mouse to pick multiple binary chunks.
