Description Tobias Knerr 2006-07-26 18:08:05 UTC
Distribution: Ubuntu 6.06 (dapper)
Package: nautilus
Severity: minor
Version: GNOME2.14.2 2.14.x
Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu
Synopsis: new/renamed folder/file incorrectly displayed while being dragged
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: File and Folder Operations
Bugzilla-Version: 2.14.x
Description:
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. create a new folder/file or choose to rename an existing one
2. type a name
3. drag the folder/file (while the "|" is still inside the text box
where you enter the name!) using the left mouse button

Actual Results:
The image of the folder/file that "hangs" on your mouse cursor still has
the old name. The image that remains in the Window gets the correct
(new) name.

Expected Results:
both icons display the new name

How often does this happen?
every time
