Last modified: 2008-02-19 13:37:18 UTC
Please describe the problem: User copied and pasted from OpenOffice-->Evolution. I think the bug report should go under this module: Backtrace was generated from '/opt/gnome/bin/evolution-2.6' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1". Steps to reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
Dave, what data did the user copy from OOo? Which OOo component? Where did the user paste to in the Composer? (mail body, recipient, ...) Please add any details you can. Thanks. Obviously, NEEDINFO.
Also, is this reproducible?
Ok, I was able to reproduce. It seems to happen on the Citrix Metaframe for Unix Xserver. The text has not table or attributes at all, just text. I highlighted the text in OOo and then right mouse clicked and selected Copy and then use the middle-mouse button to paste. I put it on gdb and hope this provides more information Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

the trace in bug 407850 has a few more debugging symbols, but probably not the interesting ones.
Works for me with plain text from Writer. Can you provide some sample, non-confidential document to reproduce this, please?
Please look at bug 516750. Very good traces and mostly duplicate. (i left on you to close as duplicate after confirmation :-))
(In reply to comment #7) > Please look at bug 516750. Very good traces and mostly duplicate. > (i left on you to close as duplicate after confirmation :-)) > sorry, I mentioned wrong number , correct one is bug 516717
The two crashers seem similar. Closing in favor of the newer one. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 516717 ***
