Description Matthias Johnson 2006-07-18 18:52:07 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When receiving a meeting request from another timezone the calendar view displays it for the same time as the original timezone rather than adjusting it to my timezone. I'm in mountain time, the invite is coming from pacific. The meeting is schedule for 11-11:30 mountain. the request shows this as 10-10:30 pacific. The display in evolution lists it as 10-10:30.

Interstingly enough the reminder for the meeting occurs at the correct time (11 mountain)

Steps to reproduce:
1. send meeting request from another timezone
2. import the event into the calendar
3. look at the calendar

Actual results:
you'll end up seeing the meeting as the same time as the request. in other words it's not adjusted for the timezone in evolution

Expected results:
the meeting should be displayed in the right timeslot adjusted for the difference in timezone

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
just to re-iterate. the alarm for the meeting seems to occur at the right time, but it's not displayed that way in the calendar
Comment 1 Matthias Johnson 2006-07-18 18:53:16 UTC
I should also mention that the request comes from outlook/exchange. Not sure if that makes a difference. It does seem like it's a display issue though since the reminder pops up at the right time.
